What are you doing tomorrow / this week ?

Propably ( per 90 % or more ) I`m going to the theatre so unfortunately I won`t able to be at webinar 🙂

How do usually spend your evenings / holidas , weekends ?

I usually spend my weekends ( very similar way :)) I sleep slightly longer / I drink coffee earlier than other days of the week 🙂 . You know …. I`m mister bore 🙂 ( from some film – I like it very much )

Have you ever broken your bone ?

No I haven`t – I have had lucky 🙂

What did you do last weekend ?

I went to meeting with my family – it was ….strange and funny

What were you doing when your phone rang ?

I was baking muffings ? when my phone rang and as result the muffings burnt down 🙁

What have you done recently , and you`re very proud of it ?

I have recently llearnt how to baked goose and I`m very proud of myself

Tell  me about your last summer holidays / last birthday

I`m an old guy  🙂 so I spent fantastic last summer in my garden

Tell me about the time when you were a child . What did life look like ?

You know 🙂 I went to school and …… :)I did not like learning 🙂 but now I love English 🙂

@wojciech-napierala mam szczęście - I’m lucky. W znaczeniu - szczęściarz ze mnie. Gdy np coś nam się udało. Tak najłatwiej 🙂 Można tez powiedziec I’m fortunate.

I watched this little episode 'Friends'. The heroes are Rachel and Chandler who want to eat a delicious cheesecake. Although probably the real hero is the cheesecake 😆 The girl and boy argue about this because both have the appetite for it. And both want to get the ideal half. Incredible, how can adult people behave like three-four year old children?

I watched four films about All Saints' Day in Poland.
I am surprised that people from other countries admire them.
Foreigners are totally amazed that Poles clean graves, put up extraordinary votive candles and flowers. But the best surprise is seeing a sea of candles in the dark. We Poles come together to celebrate our culture and tradition with people who have passed away. We are a very religious nation by nature and this is a very important day for us, we believe in eternal life where we will meet again.

I never saw near the cemetery some snacks and food, so I was surprised, in my opinion it is not Polish tradition. Only the Roma in Poland take food and drink near the graves and celebrate there. All Saints Day on first and second November are very important for me and family, we meet to each other, mention late and teach young people about family history.

A co dziś zrobimy? Po prostu piszemy co mamy do zrobienia na dziś, najbliższe dni. I dodatkowo, co mieliśmy do zrobienia - wtedy użyjemy czasów przeszłych. Spróbujecie?

@jadwiga-dziurdzia konstrukcja I was to + czasownik oznacza Miałam ….  I am to - mam (coś zrobic). Wyraża często jakieś obowiązki. W Pani zdaniach nie zawsze się przydaje, ale w niektórych tak. Często wystarczy użyć Past Simple i zdanie brzmi lepiej. Naniosłam poprawki, a jeśli będzie miał Pani jakieś wątpliwości, proszę pytać🙂

I am to make my bed but today is Independend day – so I`m celebrating this day as well

My  great grandfather was to dropped me off to the airport but he caught a flu and I had to resign the arrival - DEPARTURE 🙂 I HAVE  JUST SEEN THE MISTAKE

My doctor is to come to me at 8 p.m. but I`m afraid of I will be away from my home at the time ?

I am to buy some presents for my family for the Christmas  but I have no idea what to buy – as usual 🙁

My parents were to tought me how to made a bed 🙂 but both of them realised that made no sense 🙂

THANKS! Come back to them every day and make short sentences, it'll get easier with time. Maybe it's a good idea to write them all like a shopping list and put it somewhere? Then you can  look at it and make a sentence easily and faster 🙂

                 You`re absolutely right - I put every gotowce on my tablet and lots of times each day 🙂 I look to it and ... maybe sometime in the future 🙂

@wojciech-napierala Wojtek, try to use ”gotowce” in lots of ways. You can make longer sentences, join two structures with and, but, etc. Try to make a story and use these expressions in it. Use Youglish to listen to them. The more you use them to speak, listen or write, the easier and more useful they get. Your brain will have no choice but remember them 😘

Dziś obejrzyj choć fragment tego video. Fantastyczna dziewczyna, która po angielsku opowiada o Świętach w Polsce. Nawet jeśli zrozumiesz troszkę, to już super! Pamiętaj, ze jeśli dodasz do Chrome Language Reactor, to możesz bez problemu słuchać z napisami i sprawdzać of razu znaczenie słówek. Pani Agnieszko czy jest mozliwe przesłanie tego tekstu w formie Word ? Chciałabym osłuchać się z poprawną wymową i popracować z tekstem za pomocą shadowing. Obecnie nie jestem wstanie skopiować. Przepraszam że absorbuję Pani czas w tak gorącym okresie przygotowań.

@jadwiga-dziurdzia Pani Jadwigo, dziękuję 🙂 Jest ok, naprawdę. Warto ćwiczyć dalej cały czas, by mówić coraz płynniej, a powtarzanie po lektorze w nagraniach będzie dla Pani dobrym rozwiązaniem. Tu w wypowiedzi poprawiłabym tylko wymowę ED w słowach worked / walked - ed czytamy jako T. He teach - musimy dodać "es" albo zmienić na is teaching. Tak poza tym nie mam żadnych uwag. Dzięki!
