This story is about a chance encounter between an elderly man and an eight-year-old boy in a park . From the beginning of the film , the elderly man sits on a bench and reads a newspaper with interest .For a while a woman sits on this bench but after a while she walks away . Suddenly a boy appears who is jumping on his skateboard and starts disturbing the elderly man , He asks the boy to stop making noise but the boy continues jumping . He then asks him to sit down on a bench . The boy sat down and started asking a lot of questions. As the man did not want to answer, the boy thought he was grumpy and started tapping his fingers on the bench. The man decided that it was not possible to continue reading and started talking to the boy. The boy boasted that he had a girlfriend and asked if he had one too. The man replied that his wife was unmarried. The boy was surprised that he did not have. a new girlfriend. To prove that it is easy to find a new girlfriend he said goodbye to the man and ran over to the girl he had spotted. I think the conversation with the boy was useful for both parties.

Kochani, wysyłając do Was cotygodniowe maile w postaci "Ekspresu językowego" chcę Wam pokazać różne ciekawostki, ale i nowe angielskie słowa, w szczególności te potoczne i popularne. Dziś o tym czym jest "ghosting" i jak tego słowa używać w mówieniu. Zajrzyjcie proszę do dzisiejszego maila ode mnie - tam pokazuję, co to słowo znaczy, znajdziecie też dwa linki do filmików z YouTube, w których to słowo jest używane.

I have just finished a book by Riley Sager called "Lock Every Door". It is a very interesting, unusual thriller with a surprising ending. The protagonist of this book is an interesting character, a young woman brave detective. She has lost all her family and she needs a good job with a high salary. She becomes the caretaker of a luxury apartment for three months and fortunately her salary for each month is four thousand dollars! Everything takes place in New York, in a big, comfortable apartment building called Bartholomew, near Central Park. This place is very mysterious and scary.
It is a novel to be read from cover to cover. The text of the book is factual and excellent. You can feel this atmosphere and think about this book all the time, even after you have finished reading it.
I recommend the novel to everyone who likes dark, atypical and well constructed stories.

Już teraz zapraszam Was też na poniedziałkowy webinar. Będą przydatne codzienne wyrażenia i mnóstwo informacji jak je wymawiać, żeby brzmieć lepiej i rozumieć co native speakerzy do nas mówią.

The music  which I listen to has a relaxing effect on me, which allows me to rest.

The film I saw yesterday was moving, although its ending was surprising.

It was a beautiful, although tiring day in the mountains.

When it rains, children get bored at home because they can't go for a walk.

Suddenly in the night I heard a disturbing sound of the doorbell.

He was worried because his child was sick.

I was confused and nervous because it was my first time here and I didn't know the area at all.

We were very excited and satisfied with the results of our joint work.

Kochani, w poniedziałek spotkamy się na konwersacjach. Temat - czas wolny, pasje i zainteresowania. 🙂 A więc coś miłego, dla każdego i na każdym poziomie. 🙂A dziś jako rozgrzewkę proponuję następujące ćwiczenie - pomyślcie co lubicie robić, co często robicie. Sprawdźcie sobie potrzebne słówka, zapiszcie je. Ułóżcie przykładowe zdania i powiedzcie je na głos. How do you spend your free time?
